talabat Pledges To Match Rider Tips During One Week In December
talabat, the food and groceries delivery platform with the largest fleet of riders in the UAE, is launching a special campaign to thank them for their memorable efforts presented at the forefront during the ongoing pandemic.
This holiday season, from the 16th to the 20th of December, talabat will be doubling any and all tips received by riders in the country to show them that their incredible efforts are appreciated and always recognised.
Tomaso Rodriguez, CEO of talabat says, “We are extremely thrilled to take this opportunity to thank our riders for their selfless, dedicated work through these pressing times. Without them, we truly would be unable to support our customers in the UAE and across the region.”
Every day, talabat riders brave the heat waves, rain floods, crazy traffic jams and not to mention, a global pandemic. As a goodwill gesture, talabat has come up with a simple way to thank them. Customers can provide a tip for every order they place. These tips will be matched directly by talabat, where every customer-generated tip will be doubled and sent to that rider. All talabat riders will receive their double-upped tips before the end of the month!

Not only did riders ensure we received our favourite meals to our doorsteps, they also delivered 90,000 meals to UAE residents in need during Ramadan, as well as supporting frontliners amongst others. These meals were a mix of donations from government entities, strategic partners, talabat customers and talabat. In addition, talabat riders delivered over 4000 medicine packages across the UAE in collaboration with the Dubai Health Authority.
