Soulful Place-Maker, IMKAN, Highlights Global Portfolio At Cityscape Abu Dhabi

IMKAN, a globally-reputed property developer renowned for creating soulful places that enrich lives, has announced its participation in Cityscape Abu Dhabi from 17-19 April to showcase a number of its projects both in the UAE and internationally, including Makers District, its 18-hectare mixed-use waterfront development in the capital’s Reem Island.

Located in Cityscape Abu Dhabi at stand numbers 9B10 and 9B20, the innovative real estate company will also unveil state-of-the-art models of its other domestic and international projects including Sheikh Fatima Park in Abu Dhabi, Al Burouj in Cairo, Carmine in Marrakech and a high-profile mixed used project in Rabat.

The event will also be an opportunity for the global developer to highlight its research and development platform through the IMKAN BOX, a research lab, atelier, and creative studio that brings its upcoming projects to life through cutting-edge technology, research and design. The “box,” which represents a meeting of minds, is emblematic of the multi-disciplinary approach that propels IMKAN’s innovation and growth.

Its pioneering project in Abu Dhabi and located across from Saadiyat Island, Makers District will underscore the company’s innovative and research-oriented approach to architecture and community-building.  In a first for the UAE, the residential, commercial, hospitality and retail offering marries the capital’s culture with contemporary inspiration, creating a destination that cultivates creativity whilst enriching lives.

The initial phase of Makers District on Reem Island will soon be an unparalleled urban neighborhood for the millennial mindset and change-makers. The first residential mixed-use community, comprising of 7 towers, “Pixel” will have a built-up area of 85,000 square meters and offer 525 residential units. Other components include The-Artery, a hybrid parking garage and events space designed to evoke pure creative ability. Once complete, it will offer makers a place to both create and showcase their work.
