Dubai, United Arab Emirates; April 18: A vast array of printing options from local and international suppliers are now on spotlight at Gulf Print & Pack 2019, the premier commercial and package printing exhibition currently ongoing at the Dubai World Trade Centre.

At the show’s Print Décor Lounge, exhibitors such as Heliozid Océ Emirates, Dubaiprint.com, Al Mahir Printing and Traffic Media are attracting prospective customers with a variety of printing materials, including various types of papers, fabrics, wood and even aluminium, offering visitors a first-hand experience of diverse and customized printing possibilities on numerous materials.

“This eye-catching show zone gives visitors a fantastic insight into what’s possible in the world of printing. Everything from non-slip flooring to lampshades, wallpaper, furniture and textiles are being displayed in the Print Décor Lounge. Web-to-print and 3D formats are the prime focus of the visitors,” said Lisa Milburn, Managing Director, Gulf Print & Pack 2019.

“A close look at the latest printing options in the market, which generally doesn’t happen on the trade show floors, is not only leading to many wow moments for prospective customers but they also appreciate the initiative,” Milburn added.

Heliozid, one of the exhibitors in the new Print Décor Lounge, is showcasing samples of customised printing catering to several high-growth industries, including fashion, advertising and promotion, packaging, home furnishing, interior architecture and decoration, commercial spaces and the gift sector.

Yeghig Bekerian, Executive Manager of dubaiprint.com, said, “We are happy with the visitors’ turnout. They are quality visitors, mainly from GCC and the Middle East. Some of them contacted us to seek assistance to launch the same concept in their own countries.”

Printing on aluminium is the highlight of Sharjah-based Al Mahir – a one-stop shop for a wide range of machinery and material required for screen printing, transfer printing, roll-to-roll sublimation printing, flat bed-direct to any subtract printing (DTS) and laser engraving.

“We are showcasing excellent quality of printing on different materials. Our main target customers are painters and artists. Printing on aluminium is the new service being offered by our company. The aluminium sheet size could be up to 150x240cm. We also print on gift items,” said Dilawar Dalwai, Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director of Al Mahir in the Print Décor Lounge.

The focus of Traffic Media, yet another participant in the area, is on the interior decoration printing. “We do customise printing for curtain, pillow covers, cardboard chairs and others stuff. The concept of the Print Décor Lounge is unique and has the potential to bring in business. We have Dh15 million worth of machineries to do all kinds of jobs. There are 120 employees and 2,500 sq.m. office space to serve our customers’ demand,” said CEO Hesham Soliman of the 11-year old company, which is based in Dubai.

The visitors to the four-day exhibition increasing day by day and they are happy with the equipment available and the digital printing solutions being offered.
