The HR Tech Saudi Summit 2019 Highlights Disruptive New HR Technologies

Leading Government and private sector organizations, global technology leaders and cutting edge global HR solution providers gathered on November 11-12, 2019 in Riyadh, KSA, for the 3rd Annual HR Tech Saudi Summit, supported by Ministry of Civil Service – KSA & Human Resource Development Fund to explore the latest trends and emerging technologies transforming the future of work in the Kingdom. Global speaker and renowned futurist and thought leader, Bill Jensen delivered the keynote speech on the Future of the Enterprises: Embracing the future of work in the digital world. HR leaders also further discussed how HR processes and technology can be blended in order to make the Kingdom’s workforce future ready and further pave the way to achieve the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.

According to the National Center of Artificial Intelligence, it has been proven that by the end of 2030, AI will change 100% of job opportunities in the region. Hussain Shaikh, HCM Strategy Leader – ECEMEA from Oracle highlighted the role of AI in HR and how AI is transforming human resources, during his key note presentation.

Employee engagement and experience were other interesting topics the conference touched upon where the Human Resource Development Fund emphasized on the shift from manual to digital operations where 84% of the Kingdom’s workforce believe to digitize their corporations in line with the vision 2030. HRDF further explored how companies in the Middle East have developed people strategy in order to cultivate future skills.
