Smart Stores Expo 2018 Concludes On High Note

The 2018 edition of Smart Stores Expo proved to be a bigger success than last year’s inaugural show with the event attracting hundreds of retail professionals, service providers, manufacturers buyers, and end-use operators.  The region’s premier event for retail innovation created excitement as it witnessed new collaborations, discussions and a vast showcase of the latest retail solutions and technologies.

The show, which carried the theme ‘Explore the Future of Smart Retail’, saw a good mix of attendees that included, government officials, private companies, business leaders, international delegates and top retails brands such as Union Coop, Al Tayer, Landmark and Majid Al Futtaim.

The exhibit offered a first-hand look at some of the latest and most unique products and solutions in the market.  It delighted both exhibitors and visitors alike with more networking opportunities and greater immersion into the latest innovations in retail.

The conference, meanwhile, featured the industry’s most dynamic speakers who inspired attendees to embrace new strategies and welcome disruption into their businesses in order to survive the ever-changing retail landscape.  Complementing individual expert presentations were lively panel discussions teaching the audience to transform everyday challenges into winning opportunities.

Nair added, “I would like to extend as well a sincere thank you to our generous sponsors and partners, and our pool of talented and dedicated committee members, volunteers, speakers and attendees, all of whom collectively made this event a rousing success.”
