OSN; The Only Place To Watch The Most Awarded And Nominated Content Of The Year In The Middle East

OSN, the region’s leading entertainment network has seen a staggering 43 Oscar nominations across 14 of its films as the successful nominees got announced this week. In addition, OSN films picked up twelve wins and 37 nominations at last week’s Critics’ Choice Awards.

One of the big winners of the night at the Critics’ Choice Awards was Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, coming soon exclusively to OSN, that took home four wins and received further eight nominations. The film, starring Leonardo DiCaprio, Brad Pitt and Margot Robbie, also received ten Oscar nominations in categories including Actor in a leading role (DiCaprio), Actor in a supporting role (Brad Pitt) and Best Cinematography.

Greta Gerwig’s Little Women is also set for an exciting night at the Oscars with an impressive six nominations. The film also received eight nominations at the CCA awards and scooped one win for Best Adapted Screenplay. The film stars Saoirse Ronan who received a CCA nomination for Best Actress and Florence Pugh who received a CCA nomination for Best Supporting Actress.

Another film winning big was the comic book-based thriller Joker, directed and produced by Todd Phillips, who co-wrote the screenplay with Scott Silver. The film, also available on OSN, won Best Score and Best Actor (Joaquin Phoenix) at the Critics’ Choice Awards and received further eight nominations, while picking up a staggering 11 Oscars nominations, including Best Actor in a leading role (Phoenix), Best Cinematography, Best Director and Best Film Editing.
