Middle Eastern Artists Open Exhibition To Support Talented Artists In The Region

On March 21, 2021, Dubai-operated Behnoode Foundation in partnership with top Middle Eastern visual artists opened an art exhibition in Tehran curated by Dubai-based fashion designer Behnood Javaherpour as part of its on-going effort to raise funds and awareness to build an art academy for talented artists from the Middle East region.

The exhibition opened along with the celebration of Nowruz or the Persian New Year wherein 16 top and influential Middle Eastern visual artists from Iran displayed their masterpieces through a special group art exhibition curated by top fashion designer and philanthropist Behnood Javaherpour in partnership with award-winning artist Mahmoud Obaidi held at Hannah Boutique Hotel in Tehran and will be open for public viewing from 21st March until 2nd April from 11 AM – 5 PM.

We are planning to build an academy to nurture, train and promote young talented artists from the region to achieve their dreams and goals of becoming the most successful visual artists in the world.” said Behnood Javaherpour, Founder or Behnoode Foundation and Creative Director of Dubai-based luxury fashion brand BEHNOODE.

This is the first time for all 16 Middle Eastern artists have come together in one event showcasing their latest and iconic art pieces highlighting several messages such as peace and unity, politics and economy, hate and love, social injustices, and other pressing issues of the world and the society.

The exhibition showcased the works of highly respected, award-winning and highly influential international and regional artists such as: Mehrdad Mohebali, Mojtaba Tabatabaei, Hossein Maher, Pouya Arianpour, Shahram Entekhabi, Mostafa Darebaghi, Reza Lavasani, Farshido Larimian, Zartosht Rahimi, Ahmad Morshedloo, Arsia Moghadam, Pouria Parhizkar, Soude Davood, Leila Pazooki, Morteza Zhedi, Amir Farhad.
