Mercedes Benz Announced As Official Car Of The Wgc-Hsbc Champions

Mercedes-Benz is announced today as a proud sponsor and the new Official Car of the 2017 WGC-HSBC Champions, taking place this week at Sheshan International Golf Club.

The four-year partnership with the WGC-HSBC Champions, one of only four World Golf Championship events, starts this year as fifteen of the world’s top twenty players gather in Shanghai to compete for an increased prize fund of $9,750,000.

Mercedes-Benz has been involved in professional golf since the 1980s and supports a large number of tournaments in the professional and amateur game around the world. As a proud sponsor of three of golfs men’s Majors – The Masters, The Open and The US PGA Championship – their decision to sponsor the tournament, recognised unofficially as ‘Asia’s Major’ is an obvious one.
