Mansour Bin Mohammed Inaugurates Intersec 2026 And Affirms Dubai’s Role In Leading The Future Of Global Security And Safety
His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum inaugurated, the Chairman of the Dubai Ports and Borders Security Council today (Monday) inaugurated the 27th edition of Intersec 2026, the world’s leading exhibition for security, safety, fire protection and emergency response, which runs until January 14 at the Dubai World Trade Centre.
The current edition of the exhibition features over 1,200 exhibitors from more than 60 countries, attracting over 50,000 specialized visitors from around the world. Its program includes a wide agenda of events and conferences with the participation of more than 250 experts and speakers, while the exhibition space extends to approximately 65,000 square meters in response to the high demand and extensive international participation..
His Highness was accompanied during his visit to the exhibition by His Excellency Lieutenant General Expert Rashid Thani Al Matroushi, Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Civil Defence, His Excellency Dr. Abdullah Busnad, Director General of Dubai Customs, His Excellency Major General Awad Hadher Al Muhairi, Deputy Chief of the State Security Service in Dubai, His Excellency Meshal Julfar, Executive Director of Dubai Corporation for Ambulance Services, and His Excellency Khalifa Ibrahim Al Seles, Executive Director of the Security Industry Regulatory Agency (SIRA).

During his tour of the Intersec 2026 exhibition pavilions, His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum was briefed on the advanced solutions and technologies offered by a range of national, regional, and international entities and companies in the fields of security, safety, and emergency response. His Highness visited the Transguard pavilion and learned about its integrated solutions in security and smart services. He then stopped at the Linev Systems stand , which showcased specialized digital systems and technologies to enhance the efficiency of security systems. The tour also included a visit to the Security Industry Regulatory Agency (SIRA) pavilion , where His Highness was briefed on the agency’s efforts to regulate the private security sector and raise governance and compliance standards, and the Axis Communications pavilion , which displayed the latest smart surveillance solutions and network video technologies..
His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum’s visit to the leading international event in the field of security, safety and protection included a visit to the Motorola Solutions pavilion , where His Highness was briefed on advanced communication solutions supporting the security and emergency sectors, and the Kinfinity (Robert Bosch) pavilion , where he listened to an explanation about smart technologies and integrated security systems. He was also briefed on the solutions offered by UXE in the field of digital systems supporting risk management. His Highness also visited the Wavelo pavilion, which specializes in smart solutions for managing systems and advanced sensing and imaging technologies.
His Highness also visited the Lichfield and Bristol pavilions and reviewed the solutions and systems they offer to support security and safety systems. He then visited the Dubai Civil Defence General Command pavilion , where he was briefed on the initiatives and advanced systems to enhance emergency response readiness, including the advanced Shaheen 2 drone, the Snorkel firefighting vehicle, the Razer multi-purpose vehicle designed for operation in mountainous and desert areas, and the Explorer 2 robot, equipped with wheels and a high-pressure water cannon with a range of up to 60 meters, and the DCD GPT system. The advanced smart platform, powered by artificial intelligence, enables employees to quickly access operational information, documents, and data. His Highness concluded his tour of the exhibition with a visit to the NAFCO pavilion , where he learned about the latest fire protection solutions and safety systems offered according to the highest international standards.

The second day of the exhibition concludes with the highly anticipated Intersec Awards ceremony, where the 2026 winners will be announced at the Conrad Dubai Hotel.
