IFZA Dubai Announces Sponsorship Of Middle East Fashion Week

IFZA Dubai, the UAE’s most dynamic and truly international Free Zone, announced its title sponsorship of the second edition of the IFZA Middle East Fashion Week.

Organized by the Middle East Fashion Council (MEFC), this edition is set to take place from November 7-10 at The Agenda in Dubai Media City.

Among the highlights of the MEFW are the business-to-business segment that will connect local and global talent with retailers and buyers, and the Middle East Sustainable Fashion Forum, which aims to create discussions on environmentally responsible and financially viable ways to integrate sustainable practices into the design process and the supply chain.

Regarding this collaboration, IFZA Chairman Martin G. Pedersen says, “Dubai has risen to a prominent position as a global fashion and creative capital through public and private partnerships such as the Middle East Fashion Week.

IFZA is relentless in our pursuit of partners who share our commitment to create a supportive ecosystem that attracts businesses to Dubai and to contribute to its economic prosperity. Thus, it was a natural decision for us to support the Middle East Fashion Week.

“We are thrilled to have IFZA join us as partners on this journey to further elevate the region’s booming fashion scene. We strive to empower and support designers operating in the Middle East by helping them to launch, and scale up in the region. We also provide them with international exposure while welcoming foreign brands who wish to enter, expand in these future markets and showcase with us. In association with IFZA, we will continue to encourage the region to look at Dubai as the capital of the fashion industry.” says Simon J. Lo Gatto, Founder and CEO of MEFW and MEFC.

We look forward to inviting our network of Professional Partners to an experience of the regional fashion industry and providing opportunities for international fashion entrepreneurs to enter Dubai’s vibrant business landscape.” says Chairman Martin G. Pedersen.
