Hiking In Wadi Showka With Tima Deryan This Friday The 18th Of October 2019
The first Lebanese woman to summit the Everest, Tima Deryan is set to raise awareness and offer hope to Breast Cancer survivors in the UAE by hosting a hiking event in Wadi Showka this Friday the 18th of October from 8:00am till 1:00pm.
“Besides climbing mountains, I am passionate about empowering women, inspiring youth and raising environmental awareness” says Tima Deryan
This event is open to the public and completely free to join, visitors can also hear experts who will be sharing their personal experiences battling the fatal disease; speaking sessions will be conducted by two-time breast cancer survivor, Tania Abiad; a male breast cancer survivor Max Fardan & Dr. Tamer Fady who is a consultant Breast Surgeon.
