First Emirati Ballerina Set To Captivate Audiences At The Enchanting Finale Of Abu Dhabi Classics 17/18

Headlined by Bolshoi Soloists Ivan Vasiliev and Maria Vinogradova alongside the first Emirati ballerina Alia Al Neyadi, a troupe of 40 dancers will perform the famous ballet ‘Le Corsaire’ which is set to take the stage this Friday 20 April at the magnificent Emirates Palace, signifying an enchanting finale to the highly successful Abu Dhabi Classics season 17/18.

Brought to the UAE under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the United Arab Emirates, organised by the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi and produced by FLASH Entertainment, the Abu Dhabi Classics programme has successfully welcomed scores of classical music enthusiasts to concerts across some of Abu Dhabi’s most distinctive venues.

The upcoming performance spans three acts –  The Marketplace, The Cave and The Seraglio – that chronicles the tale of Conrad, chief of the pirates and his love interest Medora, a young Greek woman. The performers will collectively bring to life iconic theatrical renditions of romance and adventure from Le Corsaire, a pirate tale and classical heritage ballet based on Lord Byron’s poem.
