Finyal Media Announces Three Budding Podcasters As Winners Of Latest Talent Competition
Three aspiring podcasters have been announced as the winners of the recent competition by Finyal Media who set out to find the ultimate podcast X factor. The winners have seen their podcast dreams come to life as their ideas for a new Arabic podcast series has been developed by the experts at the network and released across all podcasting platforms in the region under Finyal Media’s umbrella. The competition was launched with the aim of catering to the growing need for content to be developed from the region by the region for the Arabic community. The three winning series had pilot episodes produced before a full roll out of the first episodes from Finyal Studios in November 2020.
Ahmed Darwish, Ahmed Hamed and Reem Alattas are the brains behind the anticipated new shows with all three budding podcasters being crowned the competition winners. Each winner has created a podcast concept based on their individual expertise and passions. The new shows will cover topics in tech, food and art and literature and will give all three winners the opportunity to be a voice for the community with their compelling and authentic audio content.
As a self-confessed foodie and travel lover, Ahmed Darwish will be creating a food podcast called ‘Party Platter’ which centres on food in Saudi Arabia. Each episode will explore a new dish, recipe or restaurant from the country and give listeners a feast of foodie content. Ahmed is already an experienced food column writer and is the founder of The Foodies Inc., a social media platform for food lovers to enjoy recipes and reviews.
Ahmed Hamed is an award winning filmmaker and producer with his films being shown at film festivals all over the world. Most recently he was involved in the BBC Arabic Festival in London and the Arab Film Festival in Berlin. Ahmed will be using his knowledge and passion for the arts and channelling it into a podcast called ‘Secret of Art’ packed with discussions on art and literature, its impact in history and how it affects the way we live today.
Last but not least, Reem Alattas will be launching a podcast ‘Ctrl’ which talks all things tech. She will host guests in each episode and discuss what’s hot in tech and gadgets news, the latest tech innovations and how these affect our everyday lives. Reem is well equipped to tackle all tech topics thanks to her position as a NASA datanaut, AI expert and founder of Rumble Lights, Transforming Technologies Group and Fitness Transformer.
