Fine Hygienic Holding Platinum Sponsor For Break The Ceiling, Touch The Sky® Women Leadership Summit

Fine Hygienic Holding (FHH), the world-leading wellness group and manufacturer of hygienic paper products and innovative germ protection solutions, was the Platinum Sponsor of the Middle East Edition of Break the Ceiling Touch the Sky®, one of the world’s most influential women’s success and leadership summits. This is an annual event which Fine has been sponsoring over the years as part of their commitment to women’s empowerment.

The 2021 event was held in Dubai recently and featured a number of speakers, with the participation some of the region’s top leaders including two executives from FHH – Andrea Janjua, Chief of Marketing, and Noeleen Kelly, Chief of Commercial for UAE & Lower Gulf and Global e-commerce, who shared their own experiences and best practices in the areas of leadership, diversity, and inclusion.

Commenting on the event, Andrea Janjua said “It was great to be back at Break the Ceiling, Touch the Sky, discussing diversity and inclusion topics and hopefully inspiring future women leaders by sharing how at FHH we actively champion diversity in the workplace in an environment based on equal opportunity and meritocracy. I am proud of how FHH is serving as a model for businesses across the region, we are truly leading by example and inspiring others to adopt more inclusive policies and practices.”

During her speech, Noeleen Kelly urged women to find their own unique leadership voices and not be afraid of being authentic. She said: “For businesses to be successful different kinds of leadership styles are needed, all the better to lead diverse teams and cater to the multifaceted needs of our consumers. At FHH I have always felt supported in developing my own role as a leader, and equally encouraged as my male colleagues to voice my opinions on how to help the company excel. Thanks to concerted efforts over recent years, we have seen real, tangible business benefits from this policy.”

Other participants spoke about how women can reach their goals in the workplace – by recognizing their worth and speaking with confidence – and how companies can be a force for positive change – by drawing on lessons from the pandemic to develop workplaces better suited for women.

The commitment of FHH to gender equality and diversity in the workplace is fundamental to their business philosophy, because it delivers better business. Their women’s empowerment efforts can be seen at all levels of the organization, and all steps along the career ladder. In the last two years, they have grown the number of women in leadership roles to 30% and continue to take the lead in the region on progressive women-friendly workplace initiatives, for example through generous maternity and paternity leave policies.
