Expo Centre Sharjah Receives ISO 20121 Certification, Strengthening Sharjah’s Position As A Leading Destination For Sustainable Events

Expo Centre Sharjah has been awarded the ISO 20121 certification for Sustainable Event Management, marking a significant achievement that underscores its commitment to implementing international best practices and standards. The certification further strengthens Sharjah’s position as a leading destination for hosting and organising exhibitions and events in line with sustainable principles.

ISO 20121 is an international standard dedicated to sustainable event management, providing a comprehensive framework for integrating sustainability principles into event planning, organisation and delivery. It also supports the efficient use of resources and the effective management of the environmental, social and economic impacts associated with events.
