Etisalat’s Father’s Day Video Goes Viral Reaching Over 4 Million People

Etisalat’s heart-warming documentary that pays tribute to fathers has gone viral, reaching over four million people on the company’s YouTube, Facebook, Instagram and Twitter platforms.

As they invite viewers into their homes, three fathers belonging to different nationalities share fond memories, time spent with their children, and the meaning behind the ‘Abu’ (‘father of’ in Arabic) tradition – where Arab fathers carry their eldest child’s name as a reflection of their love and pride.

The film, featuring Abu Sarah, Abu Hussain and Abu Rabee, concludes with a beautiful message: A father shows his love by taking pride in your name. Take pride in his name, too, this Father’s Day.

The public was inspired in returning their father’s love by sharing personal stories and anecdotes, using the hashtag #IamTheSonOf / #IamTheDaughterOf.
