ETAP Concludes 4th MENA User Conference In The UAE

ETAP Automation – The regional headquarters of California based Operation Technology Inc. (OTI) dba ETAP and a leading company for Electrical Power System Analysis Software and Power Automation solutions recently hosted the 4th MENA User Conference in Dubai. The conference focused on discussing the Digital requirements of businesses and paving the way for a smooth and efficient transformation.

The theme of the Conference was “Digital Control & Analytical Intelligence” for power systems focusing on solving end-customers’ business challenges and transforming their business by helping them unlock their digital potential with ETAP’s Electrical Digital Twin Model at less cost and effort.

Keynotes by speakers highlighted that apart from Power Systems Analysis & Optimization software, ETAP also is a Power Automation company with expertise in providing solutions for Power Management Systems, Substation Automation Systems, Advance Distribution Management Systems, Microgrid etc. Moreover, ETAP with its own hardware known as etap iCETM can be integrated with various systems to provide cost-effective digital solutions.

The conference was attended by Engineers, Managers, Network Planners, System Integrators, Technology Partners, and Educators representing industries including: Generation (Renewable Energy, Fossil, Nuclear etc.), Transmission, Distribution, Industrial (Oil & Gas, Metals & Mining, Manufacturing), Mission Critical Facilities (Datacentres, Hospitals, Ports), Transportation (Rail, Aerospace, Marine), and more.

The event kicked off with a Corporate Presentation and Keynote by Dr. Farrokh Shokooh, CEO, ETAP on Power Digitization followed by a presentation on Electrical Digital Twin: Solving Legacy Challenges by Mr. Shaikh Sahid Hossain, VP & Global Director, ETAP. Mr. Tanuj Khandelwal, CTO, ETAP also spoke about Integrated Power System Design & Operation Technology which discussed about ETAP’s Features & Capabilities for Field to Cloud Solutions.

At the conference, ETAP also showcased ETAP 19.5, the latest version of ETAP software released few weeks ago. The latest ETAP software offers an impressive new set of integrated power analysis modules, electrical safety capabilities, and operational compliance solutions to serve the needs of varied industries.
