Dubai To Host Meetings Arabia And Luxury Travel (MALT) Congress 2021

The Meetings Arabia and Luxury Travel Congress has confirmed Dubai Business Events as the official host for the 2021 Annual set to take place on September 6th and 7th at the Intercontinental Festival City Dubai. The MALT Congress where regional buyers and influencers from the world of conferences, meetings, incentives, events, business and luxury travel gather for two intensive days of making connections, learning, innovation & networking, will get even bigger & better this year while keeping attendees’ safety at highest priority.

This year’s host city Dubai provides the perfect backdrop for an event of this nature where the industry is looking for face to face interactions with carefully sifted buyers and rebound tourism with focused B2B meetings in a safe and secured environment.
Being one of the first destinations to get back on their feet and resume with international tourism and business events, Dubai has set a benchmark for the world to follow! With well-established tourism and meetings infrastructure, it’s no surprise to hear Dubai is one of the most visited cities in the world and has made itself the region’s number one business events destination.

More than 1.7 million visitors were received by Dubai last year from July to December with an additional two million visitors in the first five months of 2021.
Keeping in line with the purpose of catering to the MICE, business and luxury travellers changing needs from GCC, Dubai Business Events, the city’s official convention bureau, took the decision to be a key part of the event.

Issam Kazim, CEO of Dubai Corporation for Tourism and Commerce Marketing, said: “Restarting business events was one of the city’s key priorities in the wake of the global pandemic, and this was successfully achieved thanks to Dubai’s leadership as well as the efforts of stakeholders across the public and private sectors.
“Hosting the MALT Congress allows us to give meetings and luxury travel industry professionals from across the region a platform to share knowledge and innovation and discuss the recovery and future of their sectors, while at the same time enabling us to showcase Dubai’s tourism and events infrastructure and latest offerings.
“As more destinations across the region join Dubai in restarting face-to-face events, MALT Congress will be a vital forum in which stakeholders will be able to explore how they can provide their clients with memorable experiences while at the same time prioritising safety.”

Mr Ackash Jain, Director, QnA International, organisers of the Meetings Arabia and Luxury Travel Congress further added “We have come so far as an industry in the last 18 months. There is so much to discuss for the future and so much to learn from but most importantly we need to meet face to face to connect, collaborate and rebound business tourism. There couldn’t be a better place than Dubai to bring the industry together and we are excited to host the much-awaited congress in a city that has led the way for global tourism recovery.”

Now in its 9th Annual, the Meetings Arabia and Luxury Travel Congress is counted on by leading hospitality & travel suppliers and regional business and luxury travel buyers as ‘the quintessential platform’ to do business and create long lasting partnerships.
