Dubai Parks And Resorts Honored The Winners Of The Zayed University Student Programme During The “Arabian Travel Market”

Dubai Parks and Resorts (DPR), the largest integrated theme park destination in the region, today announced the winners of its university project collaboration with Zayed University (ZU) – Abu Dhabi and Dubai campuses – which aims at harnessing the perspective of Emirati youth in promoting the destination and positioning Dubai Parks and Resorts at the forefront of  UAE’s growing leisure and entertainment sector.  The winners were honored at the Dubai Parks and Resorts stand during the Arabian Travel Market, which marked the destination’s third participation in the travel and hospitality exhibition.  The winners received their prizes during a private meeting with the Deputy CEO of DXB Entertainments, Ahmad Hussain bin Essa, .

The programme saw more than 20 young Emirati female students working together on developing a 360-integrated strategic marketing campaign, which incorporates creative ideas and activations to promote the destination across its target markets in UAE and wider GCC, while contributing to Dubai Parks and Resort’s business objectives and vision.

Ahmad Hussain bin Essa, Deputy CEO, DXB Entertainments PJSC, the company that owns Dubai Parks and Resorts said: “At Dubai Parks and Resorts, we believe in inspiring and empowering new generations of Emirati talent to join the growing leisure and entertainment sector which they will lead someday. We were very impressed with the dedication and creative ideas that were presented by the Zayed University students, which demonstrated the vast potential that they hold.

The winning team, consisting of Hour Ahmed Alhosani ,  Shaikha Ali Alqubaisi,  Mouza Rashed Al Mansoori  and Aisha Salem Alhashmi, was chosen based on their ability to fulfill the objectives of Dubai Parks and Resort’s project brief, addressing the right target audiences, and coming up with a strong strategy and creative, fresh and feasible marketing tactics that can be integrated across different channels in our future campaign plans.”
