Celebrity Cruises Takes On The Wilds Of Alaska

May to September will see three Celebrity Cruises sail from Alaska up to British Columbia in Canada, with a journey through wild terrain, natural wonders and rugged beauty as the pristine final frontier unfolds across 7-days that feature whales, glaciers and fjords.

Set out on an unforgettable adventure where you’ll get up close and personal with 30-ton whales, zip-line through nature to the Mandenhall Glacier, or take flight high above the snow-capped lands and glaciers. Celebrity Cruises award-winning Alaska cruises take your sense of wonder to new heights, while nestled in the lap of modern luxury onboard Celebrity Solstice, Celebrity Infinity and Celebrity Millennium.

Sailings start from May 18, and continued right up to the September 27. The Hubbard Glacier Cruise allows you to enjoy incredible picture-perfect views from just about anywhere on the ship as our dedicated onboard naturalist narrates the experience and keeps an eye out for the whales, harbor seals, and otters that hunt and play in the waters of Yakutat Bay. With its dramatic and massive 7-mile-wide face, and ever-changing wall of ice, the Hubbard Glacier lives long in the memory of any visitor to Alaska.

While the Alaska Tracy Arm Fjord Cruise on Celebrity Solstice will start in Seattle Washington, passing through Alaska as it sails close to Juneau and the epic views of the twin Sawyer glaciers. Hear the thunderous crack as the glaciers calve and send house-sized chunks of ice plummeting into the waters of this awe-inspiring fjord. Along the way you’ll cruise past crashing waterfalls, sheer granite walls, snow-dusted peaks sure to take your breath away.

With a choice of going north or south, Celebrity Millennium’s Alaska Glacier tour offers travelers the chance to view wildlife like humpback whales, orcas, seals, eagles, and brown bears, as you pass Icy Strait Point. You will also take in great Klondike Gold Rush when you stop at Skagway’s charming downtown of restored 19th-century buildings and its historic railway. From the vintage train, admire the mountains and see the 1898 trail that fortune seekers traveled on foot. The White Pass & Yukon Route Railroad runs vintage locomotives past the famously steep Chilkoot Trail and offers sweeping mountain views during its climb toward Canada.
