Azizi Developments To Source Steel Directly In Landmark Supply Chain Deal

Azizi Developments, a leading private developer in the UAE, has awarded an AED 11.5million contract to BRC Arabia for the supply of cut and bend reinforcement steel for five of its buildings in the third phase of Riviera, its waterfront lifestyle community in the highly sought-after Mohammed bin Rashid City.

Afzaal Hussain, Chief Operating Officer at Azizi Developments, said: “We have made it our mission to bring on board – and build lasting relationships with – best-in-class suppliers for our communities in an effort to ensure the highest levels of quality and adherence to our construction completion schedules. The newly formed BRC Arabia partnership is a noteworthy step in our commitment to synergise with industry leaders, and to thereby deliver more value for our stakeholders. With the direct supply of cut and bend reinforcement steel, Azizi Developments will be able to reduce its overhead labour costs, wastage and most importantly, the time required for quality projects to reach completion.”

BRC Arabia, with their team of professional engineers and technicians, will ensure high-quality production in compliance with the world-class, international standards, BS4466 / BS8666 and ACI 318.

The cut and bend reinforcement steel will add to the durability and timelessness – and pace up the construction – of Riviera, Azizi’s renowned residential landmark destination in Meydan, which, upon its completion, will comprise more than 16,000 residences spread across 71 mid-rise buildings, overlooking an extensive retail boulevard, a canal walk with artisan eateries and boutiques, and Les Jardins — a lush-green social space.

With its strategic location near the upcoming Meydan One Mall and the Meydan Racecourse — home of the Dubai World Cup — as well as Dubai’s major business, leisure and retail hubs, Riviera is one of Azizi Developments’ most sought-after projects. Designed to introduce the French-Mediterranean lifestyle to Dubai, which is not merely about architectural art, but also about a certain ‘joie de vivre’ — a celebration of life and exultation of spirit — Riviera represents a new landmark that will add differentiated value to the real estate landscape.
