Arab Youth Center Opens Registration For The 4th Edition Of The Young Arab Diplomatic Leaders Program 2025

The Arab Youth Center (AYC), in partnership with the Anwar Gargash Diplomatic Academy, has opened registration for the fourth edition of the Young Arab Diplomatic Leaders Program (YADL), scheduled to take place from October 6 to 23, 2025. The program aims to prepare a new generation of Arab diplomatic talent capable of effectively representing their countries and advancing their national interests in international forums.

This year’s edition is set to focus on economic diplomacy and international trade, reflecting current global priorities. Participants will receive advanced training on topics including global trade policies, international economic agreements, and the conduct of multilateral economic negotiations, with participation of several international diplomatic institutions.

The Young Arab Diplomatic Leaders Program combines academic knowledge with practical application and equips young Arabs with essential skills for modern diplomacy, covering technical expertise, negotiation strategies, international protocol, and communication methods suited to 21st-century diplomacy.

Participation requires meeting specific criteria, including an official nomination letter from the candidate’s national Ministry of Foreign Affairs, between 24 and 35 years of age, and having at least three years of professional experience in diplomatic work. Building a generation of young Arab diplomats

Commenting on the announcement, Eng. Fatima Al Hallami, CEO of Arab Youth Center, said: “Investing in young diplomats is an investment in the Arab region’s future. At a time of rapid economic transformations and increasing  social challenges, it is essential to equip young Arabs with the knowledge and skills to play an active role in shaping international decisions and safeguarding the interests of their countries.”

She added: “The fourth edition of YADL emphasizes on economic diplomacy and international trade, two essential pillars of modern diplomacy. Through this program, we aim to prepare young people with the ability to negotiate, communicate, and influence on the global economic stage. This will enable them to represent their countries effectively and build partnerships that support sustainable development while strengthening the Arab region’s position internationally.”

The first stage of the program will be conducted virtually, featuring daily training sessions of three to four hours led by experts and academics in economics and diplomacy. It will conclude with three in-person days, in addition to a graduation ceremony in Abu Dhabi, highlighting participants’ experiences and achievements.
