Alteryx Announces Winners Of The Middle East And Africa Analytics Excellence Awards

Alteryx Inc. (NYSE: AYX), revolutionizing business through data science and analytics, today announced the recipients of Middle East and Africa (MEA) Alteryx Analytics Excellence Awards at the launch of the company’s new regional office in Dubai. More than 250 executives from across the Middle East attended.

The awards celebrate outstanding game changers who use the Alteryx self-service data analytics platform to make a difference with their teams, their company and their industry. Dean Stoecker, chairman and CEO of Alteryx and Abboud Ghanem, regional vice president, Middle East and Africa at Alteryx selected the best user cases for the first MEA regional awards.

Recognised for spreading the culture of analytics and uncovering insights that positively influence their organizations and communities, the selected cases reflect the UAE Vision 2021’s strategic objective of creating a smart, innovation-driven and knowledge-based economy and Dubai’s city-wide initiative to transform into the world’s smartest and happiest city.

The following use cases were awarded:

  • Al Futtaim for driving an analytics culture across the organization
  • Dubai Tourism for the best use of predictive capabilities
  • Dubai Airports for the use of analytics to significantly improve airport operations
  • Majid Al Futtaim Ventures for the best use of digital analytics
  • Public Pensions Agency in Saudi Arabia for the best use of geospatial customer analytics
  • Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) for the most innovative AI use cases

Alteryx recently reported 96% year-over-year (YoY) growth in international markets for the full year 2018, which accounted for 29% of overall revenue as of December 31, 2018. The new Dubai office is a part of the company’s investment in the region and continued global expansion as they meet the burgeoning growth of data analytics in region. Alteryx will offer further support to current and prospective customers as they gain knowledge from data by enabling data producers to analyze it for insights and make data-driven decisions.
