LIVEX 2026 Concludes With More Than AED 150 Billion In Agreements And Initiatives Advancing Abu Dhabi’s Liveability Ambitions
LIVEX 2026 concluded with more than 50 agreements and initiatives announced across its three days, with a combined value of more than AED 150 billion, demonstrating the scale of collaboration and investment supporting Abu Dhabi’s continued liveability and development ambitions.
The agreements brought together government, the private sector and academia, connecting public-sector priorities with expertise, technology and investment. They also demonstrate how continued investment in liveability can strengthen Abu Dhabi’s appeal as a place to live and work, helping attract talent, businesses and capital while supporting long-term economic growth.
Under the final-day theme, ‘The Committed City’, nine additional agreements brought together a diverse range of initiatives around the common purpose of improving how people experience the city and the quality of their everyday lives.
A key agreement between the Department of Municipalities and Transport (DMT) and e& was the service contract to launch drones services, deploying AI-enabled drone technology to provide real-time data and insights to support the management of urban spaces across Abu Dhabi. The technology will support real-time traffic monitoring, helping road users make better-informed travel decisions, while also detecting urban distortions and surface damage. Data captured by the drones will feed into DMT and its municipalities’ Unified Inspection System, supporting faster identification and response to issues. The drones will also be used to monitor construction progress, providing greater visibility over project delivery, timelines and safety compliance.
DMT also signed an MoU with TACTICA AI to collaborate on AI-enabled solutions.
Smart mobility was another focus of the day. Q Mobility, Etihad Rail and Parkin signed a strategic partnership to develop and operate smart vehicle parking solutions at passenger stations. Abu Dhabi Transport Company (ADT) and Urbanloop also signed an MoU on strategic collaboration in advanced, autonomous and AI-enabled guided urban mobility.
In the real estate sector, the Abu Dhabi Real Estate Centre (ADREC), Think Prop, DGE (Mawaheb) and ADSM announced an agreement focused on professional training and licensing.
ONE Development and Advanced Mobility Hub (a MLG company) signed an MoU on strategic cooperation to implement advanced mobility and IoT projects.
ONE Development, Nexera and Technogym Emirates also signed a fitness and wellness partnership.
Infrastructure and development also featured, with Terra Group and Future Tech signing an MoU on strategic cooperation for sustainable infrastructure and the future of IoT and mobility projects.
The Ministry of Economy & Tourism and Abu Dhabi Customs also signed an MoU on joint cooperation in information exchange and digital integration.
