2022 PUBG MOBILE World Invitational Powered By Gamers8 Kicks Off On August 11th!

PUBG MOBILE is pleased to share everything fans need to know to follow the $3,000,000 2022 PUBG MOBILE World Invitational (PMWI) powered by Gamers8.The biggest mobile esports event of the summer kicks off on August 11th with the PMWI Main Tournament, before the newly introduced PMWI Afterparty Showdown running from August 18th to 20th.

The Main Tournament of the PMWI will see 18 invited teams from across the globe competing on classic maps with a $2,000,000 prize pool on offer. The Afterparty Showdown will see 12 teams competing for the remaining $1,000,000.

The Main Tournament will also reward star players with an array of prestigious PUBG MOBILE player awards for individual performance. MVP, The Gunslinger, Eagle Eye, Field Medic, and Grenade Master will all be crowned during the competition.

The PMWI Afterparty Showdown includes the five top ranked teams from the Main Tournament, five teams selected by fan vote from Americas, Southeast Asia, MENA, South Asia and Europe, as well as 7Sea Esports, and one special invited team from the host nation, R8 ESPORTS. In the event that any of the qualified or invited teams are unable to compete, the next highest ranked team will take the available PMWI Afterparty Showdown spot.
