18 Countries Participate In Watch & Jewellery Middle East Show With India Topping The List Of Most Exhibiting Countries

A total of 18 countries from around the world will be participating in the 46th Watch & Jewellery Middle East Show, which is due to be held from April 2-6, according to Expo Centre Sharjah.

A top senior official said that Expo Centre Sharjah has completed necessary preparations to host the largest and longest running event for precious watches and jewellery in the region.

The participating countries include Bahrain, China, Canada, Hong Kong, India, Italy, Japan, Lebanon, Lithuania, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Thailand, Turkey, Yemen, the United Kingdom and the United States of America, as well as the United Arab Emirates.

Unlike previous editions, the 46th Watch & Jewellery Middle East Show will have the participation of new companies for the first time, including Cara Jewellers, one of the UAE’s leading jewelry manufacturers, Dhakan Jewellers , DANI by Daniel K some of the leading jewelers in the UAE as well as Nabil Mouzannar from United Kingdom, Zoughaib & Co from Lebanon, Primus B Co, LTD from Thailand.

Having new participants representing different countries of the world is yet again proving the show’s growing importance, becoming an ideal platform for showcasing the most important brands of gold, diamonds, watches and gemstones.

Organized and hosted by Expo Centre Sharjah with the support of the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Watch and Jewellery Show has become one of the most prominent regional and international events specialized in watches, jewellery, diamond and precious stones industry.

This year’s edition is hosting more than 500 exhibitors & brands from across the world at 30,000 sq m of exhibition space, presenting an extensive collection of jewellery that is inspired by contemporary trends, traditions, culture, art and high fashion by those who create jewellery with the highest levels of artistry, creativity and excellence

India will be having the biggest pavilion at the show, showcasing season’s most exquisite and intricately crafted jewellery creations, both traditional and contemporary followed by Hong Kong exhibiting latest designs in Gold, Diamond and gems.

The third biggest pavilion will be Italy followed by Lebanon, Thailand, Turkey and last but not the least Singapore & Japan showcasing new & unique designer jewellery.

Saif Mohammed Al Midfa, CEO of Expo Centre Sharjah; said that the Watch & Jewellery Middle East Show has established itself as one of the most important jewellery and watch shows in the region, where leading companies are waiting for it to launch their latest collections and designs of jewellery, diamonds and watches.

“The 46th edition will witness the participation of several new companies looking forward to entering the region’s markets from Sharjah and benefit from the growing regional demand on latest models and brands of gold and watches,” Al Midfa added.

He further emphasized that Expo Centre Sharjah is making every possible effort to build on the success of the show, which has turned into a world-class destination for top designers of gold, diamond and watches. The show will, without doubt, meet the growing demands of visitors and customers on luxury and ordinary gold products, innovative watches and precious stones.

He also reaffirmed that Expo Centre Sharjah will double its efforts, in cooperation with all partners, to attract the most important international exhibitions to the emirate, adding that that the center has already completed all logistical and administrative preparations for organizing a successful new edition of the show.

The show will offer visitors and shoppers a chance to win valuable daily prizes on every purchase of Dhs. 500. The Mega raffle draw prize will be 1 KG GOLD, which will take place on the last day of the show. All general visitors registering onsite will enter into a raffle draw for a chance to win a Diamond ring.

The raffle draws and prizes will be monitored by the Sharjah Economic Development Department during  the show.

The Middle East Watch and Jewellery Show is seen today as one of the most important business events for local and regional luxury jewellery and watches markets. It further strengthens the UAE’s status, which ranks fifth in the world in terms of jewellery purchases, and first in terms of the rate of purchase per person.
