Her Excellency Sarah Al Amiri Participates In The 10th Meeting Of GCC Ministers Of Education

Her Excellency Sarah bint Yousef Al Amiri, Minister of Education, has participated in the 10th Meeting of GCC Ministers of Education, held recently in the Kingdom of Bahrain. During the meeting, ministers discussed shared education priorities in GCC countries and opportunities to strengthen cooperation and promote greater alignment across the region’s education systems.

Her Excellency emphasised the importance of sustained coordination and the exchange of expertise and best practices among GCC countries. She noted that closer cooperation contributes to enhancing the quality of education and supporting the development of more flexible, future-ready education systems that equip students with the knowledge and skills needed to meet the demands of the future.

Her Excellency reaffirmed the UAE’s commitment to bolstering collaboration and integration in education across the Gulf and working with its fellow GCC states to develop joint initiatives that empower future generations, nurture their sense of identity and prepare them to contribute to a sustainable future for the region.

The meeting agenda covered several initiatives and programmes aimed at supporting joint Gulf efforts in education. Discussions focused on increasing knowledge exchange and sharing best practices in education, in line with the aspirations and development priorities of countries across the GCC.
