The awards were established as an independent and unbiased initiative to honour the very highest achievements from across the global hotel industry and the two awards signify the hotel\u2019s unique locality and romantic setting, popular with leisure\u00a0travellers\u00a0and guests from around the world.<\/p>\n<p>In another recognition, Palace Downtown\u2019s Executive Chef Steve Deconinck was named Executive Chef of the Year 2017 at Hotelier Middle East\u2019s 13th annual awards ceremony.
