The emblematic French Pavilion designed by Norman Foster, will be dedicated to mobility and under the theme of \u201cLumi\u00e8re, Lumi\u00e8res\u201d or \u201cLight, Enlightenment\u201d. The French Pavilion will be celebrating Dubai\u2019s ambitious visions of mobility bridging the latest technology to universally connect the world, innovate and revel in the \u2018art-de-vivre\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>The state-of-the-art projects that will be unveiled at the French Pavilion will showcase the ingenuity and expertise of the French economy&#8217;s flagship digital transformation and sustainable urban development. The &#8220;Smart City \u00e0 la Fran\u00e7aise&#8221; model will demonstrate how major global connectivity issues in the 21st century can be solved.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are very excited to unveil France\u2019s plans for Expo 2020. Since Dubai was announced as the host, we have been working tirelessly to create a French Pavilion unlike any other. We will be highlighting all the wonderful things France has to offer from products, technologies, innovations and ideas. Our presence will be a vehicle to connect with the world at this epic event,\u201d explained Erik Linquier, General Commissioner of the French Pavilion at Expo2020.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0In honor of the expo a special logo has been designed by Richard Attias &amp; Associates in collaboration with their creative partner Hands Agency to represent France\u2019s three messages of Radiance, Speed and Light.<\/p>\n<p>\u25cf Radiance: The &#8220;A&#8221; in the word France is also the Eiffel Tower, an iconic French symbol and deeply associated with the history of world expos since its construction, revealed when Paris hosted the World Expo in 1889. This emblem aims to enlighten and guide as a beacon, as well as to share ideas.<\/p>\n<p>\u25cf Speed: The color gradients on the spokes of the Eiffel Tower represent movement, mobility and speed. They also symbolize networks, flow and connections.<\/p>\n<p>\u25cf Light: The rays springing from the summit of the tower evoke the light. They highlight the French influence abroad and the dissemination of ideas.<\/p>\n<p>During the six months of the expo, the French Pavilion will be promoting the country\u2019s expertise in solving issues with key themes of health, artificial intelligence, research, education, culture, science at the forefront of the initiatives. The pavilion will illustrate the opportunities of creating the conditions for a better world for this generation and the ones to come. Leaders from these key industries will be on the ground to offer insights and to share their expertise.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Expo 2020 will offer France the opportunity to express its vision on climate change initiatives and to create ecological and environmental solidarity on an international level. In the spirit of the One Planet Summit, France will continue to support the advancement of social wellbeing and justice across the world while also using digital accelerators to develop smart cities of the future\u201d, added Linquier.<\/p>\n<p>Expo 2020 will create great opportunities for France and a chance to exchange ideas and meet with the expected 25 million visitors from over 180 countries.
