Constance Hotels and Resorts invites guests to discover their new architectural masterpiece; sunken in nature and steeped in history, while enjoying a complimentary all-inclusive upgrade. Guests booking a stay at Constance Aiyana on a full-board basis get a complimentary all-Inclusive upgrade until the 31st October 2018, including breakfast, lunch, dinner, a selection of drinks and other thrilling activities.<\/p>\n

Aiyana is a legend in the making, the hotel took almost eight years of construction on an untouched site, with most of the construction and furniture produced locally on the island. A tremendous task with limited access to water, electricity and other useful commodities. The 30 villas are designed intricately, with each villa including handmade furniture and d\u00e9cor, created using traditional Zanzibari craftwork. The villas exist in harmony with the original and natural landscape, inside and out. While the roof of the spa took approximately 100,000 coconut brooms to keep it naturally cooled and ventilated.<\/p>\n

The flora of the hotel is magnificent where the blooms in the luxuriant garden have been imported from five different countries; Mauritius, Bali, Tanzania, Thailand (from the garden of the famous landscape architect Billy Bensley) and from France, having been taken from the Champs \u00c9lys\u00e9e roundabout. More than 1,000 different adult palm trees ranging from 3m to 10m trunk height were planted to recreate the atmosphere of the Ngezi Forest Reserve.<\/p>\n

What seemed like an impossible dream turned into a beautiful reality. Constance Aiyana, with its vernacular architecture, high ceilings, pastel white colours, fragrant gardens, natural forms and traditional African building material, is blending perfectly in its surroundings and melting into the sublime d\u00e9cor.<\/p>\n
