Rotana, one of the leading hotel management companies in the region with hotels across the Middle East, Africa and Turkey, has reaffirmed its position at the forefront of the hospitality sector by taking home a total of 16 awards at the World Travel Awards (WTA) Middle East\u00a0Gala Ceremony<\/a>\u00a02018.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The awards include Saudi Arabia’s Leading City Hotel 2018 won by Rosh Rayhaan by Rotana in Riyadh and Saudi Arabia’s Leading Budget Hotel 2018 won by Centro Shaheen by Rotana in Jeddah.\u201cThe World Travel Awards are renowned as the Oscars of the travel world and we are delighted to be honored as Saudi Arabia’s Leading City Hotel by this globally esteemed authority,\u201d said Mamdouh Ali, General Manager of Rosh Rayhaan by Rotana in Riyadh. \u201cFor their contribution to this win I thank all our colleagues at every level for their dedication to excellence that is the hallmark of the Rotana brand.\u201d<\/p>\n

The awards were presented at a glittering ceremony attended by industry leaders in Ras Al-Khaimah in UAE on 19 April. Now celebrating its 25th<\/sup>\u00a0year, the World Travel Awards is globally recognised as the travel industry\u2019s most prestigious awards programme and rewards exceptional performers in the tourism, airline, hotel and hospitality sectors.<\/p>\n

Rotana secured the coveted title of \u201cMiddle East\u2019s Leading Hotel Brand\u201d for the 12th<\/sup>\u00a0year in a row, in addition to winning major regional awards including \u201cMiddle East’s Leading City Hotel\u201d for Amwaj Rotana, Dubai; \u201cMiddle East’s Leading Corporate Resort\u201d for Beach Rotana, Abu Dhabi; and \u201cMiddle East’s Leading Luxury Hotel Apartments\u201d for Arjaan Dubai by Rotana.<\/p>\n

The company received a further 12 accolades in the country and city-based categories, while Rotana\u2019s Chairman Nasser Al Nowais was recognised with a special \u201cLifetime Achievement Award\u201d for his outstanding contributions to the industry.<\/p>\n
