The agreement reflects growing adoption of district cooling technology by real estate industry that now invests largely in sustainable technologies such as district cooling which drives higher returns on investments to the businesses.<\/p>\n<p>The project, which will be having a total investment of AED 150 Million by Empower, will be started commissioning from August 2018. The agreement was signed by H. H. <em>Sheikh Theyab<\/em>\u00a0Bin\u00a0<em>Tahnoon<\/em>\u00a0Al Nahyan, Chairman of\u00a0<em>Cityland<\/em>\u00a0Group, and Ahmad bin Shafar, CEO of Empower, at the Cityland Mall Site Office<\/p>\n<p>H.H, Sheikh TheyabBin\u00a0TahnoonAl Nahyan said: \u2018This significant agreement with Empower will drive environmental as well as economical returns while making a major impact on Cityland Mall. As the world\u2019s first nature inspired shopping destination, the unique design and development of the mall will ensure environmental sustainability while being an attractive destination for residents and tourists.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are proud to always be the first choice of the major real-estate developers as this reflects the trust in our services, which also prompts us to serve our customers with utmost priority. We are happy that we have been chosen to serve Cityland Mall with eco-friendly district cooling systems. This reflects Empower&#8217;s ability to support Dubai&#8217;s pioneering role in reducing carbon emissions, in line with the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.
