This Spring season will be filled with lots of colourful modern and contemporary art from the Middle East, Global South, and beyond with the return of the most anticipated art fair in the region to Madinat Jumeirah on March 11-13, with previews on March 9-10.<\/u><\/u><\/p>\n

Art Dubai’s 15th edition is its most extensive edition to date with over 100 galleries from over 40 countries.<\/u><\/u><\/p>\n

And right on time, with March being a crypto month in town, the fair will launch a new section that will feature new media, digital art works including physical art turned into NFTs.\u00a0Art Dubai Digital<\/b>\u00a0comes with a series of talks that answer questions about the metaverse \u2013 what it is, how to buy, etc.<\/u><\/u><\/p>\n

Visitors can also enjoy art exhibits from the other gallery sections:\u00a0Contemporary\u00a0<\/b>with galleries from around the world,\u00a0Modern<\/b>\u00a0that will feature solo presentations of museum-quality works by 20th<\/sup>\u00a0<\/span>century masters from the Middle East and North Africa; and\u00a0Bawwaba<\/b>\u00a0<\/span>meaning\u00a0<\/span>gateway<\/i>\u00a0<\/span>in Arabic with the current artistic developments across wide geographical scopes across the Global South.<\/u><\/u><\/p>\n

New and exciting commissioned works await the visitors, including Art Dubai’s commission\u00a0Sand Flow<\/i><\/b>\u00a0<\/i>by\u00a0<\/span>INLAND, represented by Fernando Garcia-Dory \u2013 a new multi-site installation at the fair and in a variety of locations across Dubai that combines visions of Dubai’s past, present and future and examining the ways in which\u00a0the multiplicity of cultures and communities inhabit the city and their contributions to it.<\/u><\/u><\/p>\n
