The fifth-generation Hyundai Accent builds on the strengths of its predecessors, applying Hyundai\u2019s modern engineering expertise to offer an all-new product that immediately establishes itself at the front of the small car segment. It features expressive and striking design, a high-tech interior, a more efficient powertrain, reduced cabin noise and remarkably improved driving dynamics, available with the latest safety and convenience features.<\/p>\n

The New-generation Hyundai Accent aims to be the segment benchmark for driving dynamics and safety, while delivering outstanding fuel efficiency and maintaining Hyundai\u2019s unbeatable value position.<\/p>\n

Striking Exterior Design
\n<\/strong>The design of the new Accent exhibits confidence and sophistication with sculpted body forms and smoothly contoured lines delivering a new interpretation of Hyundai\u2019s signature design language. Every exterior detail expresses \u201cmodern elegance\u201d and \u201crhythmical tension\u201d, the keywords that guided the Accent team from the very first sketch and throughout the entire creative process, right up to the final design freeze stage.<\/p>\n

From the front, the stylistic focus is Hyundai\u2019s cascading grille, a visual signature providing unity across the Hyundai range, flanked by wraparound headlights and available LED signature daytime running lights. Accent\u2019s sweeping roof profile and sharp character lines run the length of the car. These character lines meet available slim LED wraparound taillights. Features such as 16-inch alloy wheels and side mirror LED turn signal indicators add to the upscale feel of the car.<\/p>\n

The car\u2019s form is also functional, achieving balance between design and engineering for standout styling with aerodynamic improvements. The underside of the car is also sculpted for aerodynamics, and a new front-lip spoiler, together with a lower ride height, contributes to Accent\u2019s efficient design. All of these attributes allow the New-generation Accent to achieve a drag coefficient of 0.308.<\/p>\n

Accent\u2019s outer dimensions have been increased by considerable margins, yielding proportional dividends in passenger comfort and cargo space. The wheelbase, for example, has been extended to 2,600mm, creating more legroom, which will come as good news to the taller population. Three passengers can be now enjoy the comfort of extra shoulder room in the rear seats thanks to the increase in the Accent\u2019s overall width to 1,729mm.<\/p>\n
