The symposium\u00a0provided\u00a0education on key topics related to angel investing,\u00a0in order to demystify investments in start-ups and persuade investors to\u00a0enhance\u00a0the region’s competitive edge on the global stage.<\/span>Anchored at NYU Abu Dhabi,\u00a0startAD is committed to helping build the entrepreneurship ecosystem in the UAE.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

NYU Abu Dhabi Vice Provost for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, and\u00a0startAD\u00a0Managing Director Ramesh\u00a0Jagannathan,\u00a0<\/span>said:\u00a0“<\/span>It is important for the investor community to grow in lockstep with the entrepreneurship community for the ecosystem to flourish.\u00a0The annual Angel Rising investor education symposium is an important marker defining the UAE investment landscape. With every year, we see a growing interest in the content, speakers and a tangible need for the community to have these impactful conversations.”<\/p>\n

His Excellency Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansoori, UAE Minister of Economy\u00a0said: “The UAE has established a strong support system for startups and entrepreneurs that reinforces the country’s keenness in launching strategic initiatives that are aimed at empowering these firms and boosting their growth.
