Harbor Real Estate donates AED150,000 to support \u201dYadulKhair Committee\u201d that was launched by the Rental Disputes Center (RDC), the judicial arm of Dubai Land Department (DLD) to help families, affected by judicial rulings issued by the RDC.<\/p>\n

Harbor Real estate, a leading real estate service provider offering holistic real estate services to individual and institutional clients and has achieved the gold ranking for a third time in a row, is among the companies who contributed to support the \u201dYadulKhair Committee\u201d. It is also worth mentioning that Harbor Real Estate is an ISO certified customer service and an award-winning agency, which has received various prestigious awards and recognition from government entities across the UAE.<\/p>\n

MohanadAlwadiya, Chief Executive Officer of Harbor Real Estate, said, \u201cThis initiative and the \u201910 million meals\u2019 campaign are in conjunction with the holy month of Ramadan and the year towards the next 50 to support insolvent tenants in a meaningful way\u201d.<\/p>\n

He added that, this initiative aims to reinforce social solidarity and cohesion that the UAE has established in us. As we are part of the UAE real estate society, we need to sustain Dubai\u2019s real estate environment by supporting the relations between tenants and landlords.<\/p>\n

Alwadiya underlined that the initiative that was launched by Rental Disputes Center (RDC) that seeks to support needy individuals and families, embodies the values of tolerance, solidarity and cooperation inherent in the UAE society.<\/p>\n

\u201cOne of our key objectives at RDC is to secure stable relations between tenants and landlords in order to sustain Dubai\u2019s safe real estate environment,\u201d said Judge Abdul QaderMousa, RDC chairman.<\/p>\n

He added that there are three underpinning factors to humanitarian situations considered by the RDC. First, individuals going through humanitarian cases must apply to “YadulKhair Committee”, and the committee carefully scrutinizes their cases in order to provide assistance with the financial assistance cap set at AED 30,000.<\/p>\n

Second, the Judgment Execution Department operating within the Rental Disputes Center that carries out eviction, forwards humanitarian cases for the \u201dYadulKhair Committee\u201d to take into account, as there are some evictions linked to humane aspects, such as the presence of children, patients, or elderly people. Furthermore, there are humanitarian cases raised by the RDC bailiffs through submitting a report for the \u201cYadulKhair Committee\u201d to consider them with its parameters and standards fit for assistance.<\/p>\n

Finally, the humanitarian aspect appears in the event of the defendants being imprisoned and deprived of their freedom, their problems are solved without asking for any paper work from them – going through application process.<\/p>\n

For all such cases, the RDC has established the ‘YadulKhair’ committee, which comes to the rescue of the afflicted, he added.<\/p>\n

Judge Moosa added, \u201cThe money will be used solely for paying the dues, in line with the charitable and humanitarian aspect of the center\u2019s operations. RDC has assembled specialized committees to oversee these cases and study the situations of families to determine their conditions\u201d<\/p>\n

RDC Judge AbdulazizAbdulrahman Ali Anwahi, president of ‘YadulKhair’ committee, said that many of rental lawsuits were associated with humanitarian aspects, which should be taken into account out of empathy. Some of these cases may have been affected by the RDC verdicts issued against defendants in rental cases because of their own existing humanitarian conditions.<\/p>\n

Judge Anwahi said RDC has developed a system to determine all humanitarian cases, which deserve special care and attention. Those who seek help must send an application to the committee, supported by a report detailing their social condition.<\/p>\n
