Canon, a leader in printing and imaging solutions, outlined its commitment to the Middle East and Central & North Africa markets as it shared the key achievements of 2019, and vision for 2020.<\/p>\n

The annual \u2018Kick Off\u2019 meeting was complemented by a special visit of Canon\u2019s EMEA<\/strong> President and CEO Yuichi Ishizuka<\/strong>, who underlined the company\u2019s philosophy of kyosei, <\/em><\/strong>living and working together for the common good.<\/p>\n

Learnings from the last year were explored alongside ways to boost performance across the Canon \u2018ecosystem\u2019 in 2020, with a \u2018growth mindset\u2019 and a ten-year vision for Canon Middle East to position itself as a \u2018Lifetime Imaging Partner\u2019<\/strong> amongst its consumer and business audiences. Over the year, each quarter will focus on the pillars: culture, sustainability, innovation <\/strong>and ambition <\/strong>which will help to shape communication with employees and potential employees, customers, partners, media and the industry as well as the community, including women and youth.<\/p>\n

Employees, customers, and the community will continue to be at the core of all company activities and will be reinforced as part of the workplace culture. Employees were recognised for their contributions across the team, highlighting the importance of collaboration in line with the \u2018Together We Can\u2019 strategy for 2020.<\/p>\n

During the event, Canon Middle East further outlined its plans for Expo 2020 Dubai, the largest of its kind event to be staged in the Arab world, as it its official printing and imaging provider.<\/p>\n

This is the first time Expo 2020 Dubai has one provider for both imaging and printing, giving Canon the opportunity to contribute to the delivery of the event, and showcase its entire input to output portfolio. The partnership will further help people to reimagine and push the boundaries of what is possible through imaging.<\/p>\n
