<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Dubai Technology Entrepreneur Campus (Dtec), a wholly owned tech incubation centre by Dubai Silicon Oasis Authority, in partnership with Dubai Startup Hub, an initiative of Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry, kicked off the latest edition of the Emirati Tech Bootcamp featuring a series of practical workshops and inspirational sessions designed to provide aspiring entrepreneurs with essential business skills.<\/p>\n
The four-day bootcamp, running from November 12th-16th, is joined by more than 30 aspiring entrepreneurs who will learn about key aspects of building a successful business, with sessions covering a wide variety of topics, including mentorship, pitching, developing business plans, digital marketing, corporate strategy and leadership.<\/p>\n
The event will conclude with a pitch competition that will be hosted at Dtec and will see the winning team receive company setup with free desk space at Dtec for one year and a startup business growth package from Dubai Startup Hub.<\/p>\n
Open to Emiratis across various segments – students, professionals, entrepreneurs, as well as members of the public with an interest in technology, the event is supported by leading industry experts, certified trainers, and technology entrepreneurs who will share valuable insights and knowledge, practical advice and useful tips.<\/p>\n
Commenting on the bootcamp, Hans Christensen, Vice President of Dtec, said: \u201cEntrepreneurs and innovators make up a vital component of Dubai\u2019s landscape and growth, and we welcome the opportunity to support them during these early stages. The programme serves as an excellent platform for entrepreneurs to collaborate and refine their entrepreneurial skill set directly with industry experts.\u201d<\/p>\n

For her part, Natalia Sycheva, Manager of Entrepreneurship at Dubai Chamber, said \u201cDubai Chamber is excited to partner with Dtec for the second consecutive time, delivering the Emirati Tech Bootcamp. The four-day training is in line with our continued efforts to support UAE Nationals in opening their own businesses in Dubai. Throughout the year we partner with different providers to ensure locals have the opportunity to gain the knowledge and insight into what it takes to run a successful company. This year, we are delighted to see that 30% of our training attendees have gone on to register their businesses.\u201d<\/p>\n
She added that the Emirati Tech Bootcamp supports Dubai Startup Hub\u2019s efforts to nurture Dubai\u2019s startup ecosystem and provide clarity and guidance for startups throughout their entrepreneurial journey.<\/p>\n
