Through six new offerings, Sky News Arabia is utilising advanced technology to bring its viewers cutting-edge and engaging programming that addresses exciting topics from around the world, with the format of the shows featuring social media Influencer appearances and audience interaction.<\/p>\n
As part of the programming\u2019s innovative content, Sky News Arabia has partnered with Facebook to use the social media giant\u2019s recently acquired \u2018Vidpresso\u2019 interactive social video tool to live stream its new weekly programme \u2018Chat Show\u2019 on Facebook. Chat Show addresses topics of interest to youth in the MENA region, with Videpresso allowing Sky News Arabia to cover breaking news in a more interactive way through on-screen polling and viewer comments. Sky News Arabia will be the first Arabic News Chanel to utilise Vidpresso.<\/p>\n

Using tools such as Facebook Live will ensure a rich and engaging experience for Sky News audiences.\u201d<\/p>\n
Driven by the rising popularity of social media personalities, both globally and across the region, Sky News Arabia is also launching \u2018With Influencers.\u2019 Each episode will welcome a social media influencer to share their insights, answer challenging and amusing questions and take on fun challenges to test their knowledge beyond their comfort zones. \u2018With Influencers\u2019 will be aired on Sky News Arabia\u2019s YouTube channel.<\/p>\n
Other shows being introduced on Sky News Arabia\u2019s social media channels include the short documentary style programmes \u2018In-Depth\u2019 and \u2018Explainer\u2019. \u2018In-Depth\u2019 delves into relevant topics for young people, while \u2018Explainer\u2019 explores interesting subjects from around the world. The social-inspired programme \u2018Their Story,\u2019 features the lives and stories of various individuals from around the region, with the aim of inspiring positivity amongst viewers.<\/p>\n
Other digital programmes in the making include \u2018Malameh,\u2019 which centres on visiting different countries and finding out more about their traditions and customs.<\/p>\n
With its new programming schedule specifically designed for digital channels and available on Sky News Arabia\u2019s Facebook, YouTube and Instagram pages and with its advanced virtual reality and augmented reality technology to bring viewers unique experiences, Sky News Arabia aims to enrich viewer and visitor interaction across all its digital platforms.<\/p>\n
