{"id":17251,"date":"2019-10-24T14:34:28","date_gmt":"2019-10-24T10:34:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.middleeastevents.com\/blog\/?p=17251"},"modified":"2019-10-24T14:34:28","modified_gmt":"2019-10-24T10:34:28","slug":"commemorating-retailing-excellence-in-the-middle-east-the-annual-retailme-awards-2019","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.middleeastevents.com\/blog\/commemorating-retailing-excellence-in-the-middle-east-the-annual-retailme-awards-2019\/","title":{"rendered":"Commemorating Retailing Excellence In The Middle East The Annual RetailME Awards 2019"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Annual <strong>Images RetailME Awards<\/strong>, celebrated some of the region\u2019s most outstanding achievements in retail at a gala ceremony on 15th October 2019 at Le M\u00e9ridien Hotel &amp; Conference Centre, Dubai UAE.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Images RetailME Awards<\/strong> honour excellence across a range of retail categories, turning the spotlight on the best performing retailers in the region and benchmarking best practices in this vibrant industry.<\/p>\n<p>Among the winners in 21 diverse categories were; <strong>LIWA TRADING ENTERPRISES<\/strong> for the most admired Middle East Retailer of the Year; the most admired Retail Personality of the year was won by <strong>FAHAD AL OTHAIM<\/strong> and<strong> JUMBLE <\/strong>for the most admired Rising Star Retailer of the Year.<\/p>\n<p><strong>SPLASH<\/strong> won in the Fashion category; <strong>ALDO<\/strong> in Footwear &amp; Accessories; <strong>THE CHILDREN\u2019S PLACE<\/strong> for Children\u2019s wear; <strong>NAYOMI<\/strong> in Lingerie &amp; Nightwear category<strong>; <\/strong>and <strong>CALVIN KLEIN<\/strong> in Luxury. <strong>6<sup>TH<\/sup> STREET<\/strong> was named as the most admired Online Retailer of the year.<\/p>\n<p><strong>E-CITY<\/strong> won in the Consumer Electronics category; <strong>FUN CITY<\/strong> in the Leisure &amp; entertainment category; <strong>ZOOM<\/strong> in the Food &amp; Grocery category and<strong> ZAATAR W ZEIT<\/strong>\u00a0 in Food Service category. <strong>LIFE PHARMACY<\/strong> was named as the most admired Pharmacy &amp; Healthcare retailer; <strong>AURA<\/strong> won in the Home &amp; Housewares category; and <strong>FAHAD AL SHIBINI \u2013 DANUBE, RIYADH<\/strong> won an award for the most admired store Manager of the Year.<\/p>\n<p><strong>M\u2019OISHI (w), MR DRAPER (1 r\/up), ITS HER WAY (2 r\/up)<\/strong> were named as Most Admired Startup of the Year. \u00a0<strong>SPLASH (w), DUBAI DUTY FREE (r\/up)<\/strong> won the Responsible Retailer of the Year. <strong>FABYLAND (w) SHARJAH COOP (r\/up), <\/strong>for Store Design of the Year: Food &amp; Leisure;\u00a0 <strong>CENTREPOINT (w), STEVE MADDEN (r\/up)<\/strong> <strong>\u00a0<\/strong>for Store Design of the Year: Fashion &amp; Lifestyle and <strong>NESPRESSO (w), ZOOM (r\/up)<\/strong> won for the Most Admired Brand Campaign of the Year. <strong>\u00a0(Full list of winners provided below)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>On the red carpet of the RetailME Awards, Monique Balchin and Lisa Dijkman set the mood for the celebration with their mystical performances. Tom Urquhart, well-known in Dubai\u2019s media circuit and a talented broadcaster, anchored the awards.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Amitabh Taneja<\/strong> Chairman and Managing Director of the Images Group said, \u201cWe at Images RetailME believe that awards give you tremendous encouragement from the industry to continue to do good work; no matter how young or old you are. We thank every member of our jury for sparing the time and effort to evaluate the submissions and compile the results.
