without them, necessary skills may not develop.<\/p>\n<p>Toys can enhance a child\u2019s development by promoting socialisation, creativity, emotional security, motor skills and learning and by providing opportunities for inquisitive exploration of the world. \u00a0These are important milestones for the healthy progress of children not only emotionally, but also intellectually and physically.<\/p>\n<p>A specially designed donation box will be placed at the participating hotels, where patrons can drop off items, such as reading and colouring books, stationery and toys. \u00a0To wrap up the campaign, each hotel will have a weigh-in on 30 December 2018. \u00a0The hotels pledge AED 10 for every kilo of goods collected. \u00a0All proceeds from the campaign will be given to the hotel\u2019s chosen charity and distributed accordingly.<\/p>\n<p>Across the UAE, Shangri-La Hotel, Dubai, Shangri-La Hotel, Qaryat al Beri, Abu Dhabi and Traders Hotel, Qaryat al Beri, Abu Dhabi have teamed up with the Emirates Red Crescent Society. \u00a0Since its inception in 1983, the Emirates Red Crescent Society has played a leading<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts across the Middle East<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Announce Year-End Charity Campaign<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>role in promoting different aspects of humanitarian work on both domestic and international levels.<\/p>\n<p>It aims to mobilise the power of humanity to help the weak and the needy wherever they are and regardless of any of ethnic, cultural, geographic or religious considerations.<\/p>\n<p>Shangri-La Barr Al Jissah Resort &amp;
