    Microsoft Gulf Recognized By Dubai World Trade Center And Dubai Convention Bureau For Tech-Ed Middle East
    First edition of Tech-Ed Middle East receives outstanding response from over 1500 regional IT professionals.

    Microsoft Gulf today received an honorary plaque from the Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing/ Dubai Convention Bureau in recognition for its efforts in hosting the first Tech-Ed Middle East in the UAE with the aim of developing the region’s technology industry. Tech-Ed, Microsoft’s premier, three day technical education and networking event was one of the main highlights of Dubai’s extensive exhibitions calendar and it attracted over 1500 IT professionals from across the UAE and 38 other countries. Attendees benefited from world-class speakers demonstrating the latest in technology solutions, designed to enhance business productivity and meet the demands of tech-savvy consumers.

    Attendees at Tech-Ed received comprehensive technical education; hands-on learning and deep product exploration sessions around hot technology topics including cloud-computing, virtualization, unified communications and more. Held in partnership with Dubai Convention Bureau, Dubai Internet City, Jumeirah Group, Etisalat, Dell, Intel, HP, AMD and others, the event covered over 150 sessions that were presented by over 70 expert speakers. Microsoft also showcased its ongoing commitment to the development of Arabic language software for the region’s IT community.
