The winners of the 2nd Annual Middle East Business Achievement Awards (MEBA), which run in partnership with Dubai Holding, were announced at a glittering ceremony in Dubai and attended by over 800 of the region’s leading professionals, as well as speakers from the Leaders in Dubai Business Forum, senior government officials and senior industry guests.
The Awards - which uniquely celebrate Middle East industry leaders through the appreciation of innovative business practices, business excellence and overall business success - were presented during an elaborate Gala Dinner held at the InterContinental Hotel in Festival City, Dubai, in association with Gulf Business.
“Leaders Presents applauds the winners of the MEBA Awards and all who were nominated. The Award-winners and nominees represent the very best of the Middle East’s business talents and are a culmination of four months of searching for the brightest stars in our community,” said Alan Kelly, Divisional Director, Leaders Presents. “In the current global uncertainty, it is very heartening to have real cause to celebrate tonight.”

Awarded to Burgan Bank which has demonstrated marketing strategy excellence in driving business performance.
Recommended Employer Award
Awarded to Dow Chemical IMEA GmbH which demonstrated the provision of a stimulating and supportive workplace.
Environmental Contribution Award
Presented to the Masafi Co. (LLC) which has proven leadership and commitment to the enhancement, preservation and protection of the environment.
CSR Award
Awarded to THE One which has acted in a manner that goes beyond its financial and legal obligations.
Best Small Business Award
Awarded to HotShots which has demonstrated sustainable growth and commercial success to levels that are outstanding for its size
Best Family Business Award
Presented to M.H. Alshaya Co. WLL which has showed a continuous business success and multi-generational family involvement
Best New Company Award
Awarded to HotShots which proved initiative and willingness to undertake bold new ventures.
Entrepreneur of the Year
