Geneva, Switzerland – Media accreditation will close soon for the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting of the Global Future Councils, which will take place at the Madinat Jumeirah Convention Centre in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, on 11-12 November 2017.

The annual meeting will bring together more than 600 members of the Forum’s Global Future Councils – a network of 35 distinct councils each focused on a specific issue, industry or technology – to develop new and original ideas to positively shape the future in a time of rapid technological change.

In addition, Council members will have the opportunity to meet with representatives and partners of the Forum’s new Center for the Fourth Industrial Revolution, to explore how particular technologies can bring new economic and societal benefits. These include artificial intelligence and machine learning, autonomous vehicles, blockchain, drones, digital trade, the Internet of Things and precision medicine.

Media accredited to the “world’s largest brainstorm” meeting can take advantage of unique access to the experts, whose knowledge will help define responses to a future world, and gain insight into the ideas and solutions that will be taken forward for further discussion at the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting 2018 in Davos-Klosters, Switzerland, in January.

To apply for accreditation to the Annual Meeting of the Global Future Councils, please complete the form at www.weforummedia.org before Friday 20 October 2017. Late applications will not be considered. The registration guidelines can be found here.

Only journalists accredited by the World Economic Forum will have access to the meeting. You will receive an email confirmation once your details have been processed.
