Aqdar World Summit 2019 Agenda Announced Today
The Higher Organizing Committee of Aqdar World Summit announced that the third edition of Aqdar World Summit will be held in Moscow, Russia, from 29 August to 1 September under the theme “Global Empowerment of Communities: Experiences & Lessons Learned”. This unique event will be held in conjunction with Moscow Global Forum City for Education, the forum that aims to bring together leading academics, researchers, scholars and educators to present, share and discuss new trends and significant contributions in educational practices.
This was announced during a press conference held earlier today in the presence of the Advisor Dr. Ibrahim Al Dabal, Executive Chairman of Khalifa Empowerment Program, Dr. Abdulrahman Al Mansoori, General Coordinator of Khalifa Empowerment Program, Dr. Abdul Salam Al Madani, Executive Chairman Aqdar World Summit, and Dr. Andrey Zinin, Special Projects Director, Moscow City Department for Education, in addition to a number of officials, supporters, partners, and members of the press.
Aqdar World Summit is a high-class local and international event that sheds the light on humanitarian issues and the development of sustainable individuals and societies as well as supporting the awareness initiatives in order to enhance the human potentials in building civilized societies.
Commenting on this occasion, Advisor Dr. Ibrahim Al Dabal, Executive Chairman of Khalifa Empowerment Program said: “For the third edition of the summit, we have chosen Moscow to transfer the local experiences and successful practical experiences to other countries in order to ensure the success of the summit and to achieve its objectives of spreading peace and moral values throughout the world.”
Dr. Al Dabal added: “Aqdar World Summit has become an important global and local forum that tackles the most important issues that faces the communities while also focusing on topics that serve both the individuals and the societies to develop coherent and well-educated communities.”
From his side, Dr. Abdul Salam Al Madani, Executive Chairman of Aqdar World Summit, said: “We are very proud to announce that the third edition of Aqdar World Summit will be held in Moscow, Russia. This step comes out of our responsibility to achieve the goals of Aqdar World Summit of empowering individuals and societies to overcome the challenges that faces them all around the world. Holding the event in Russia will also provide an opportunity for experts and professionals in fields like, education, technology, innovation, safety and health from the UAE and other GCC countries to share their experiences and build new partnerships with stakeholders from all parts of the world.”
He also added: “We aim in the third edition of Aqdar World Summit, to exchange and share the achievements of the UAE in the fields of human development, education, innovation and others, to other countries as well as spreading the vision of the UAE in building a high-level educational system, sustainable environment and a society based on innovation and development.”
On this occasion, Dr. Abdulrahman Al Mansoori, General Coordinator of Khalifa Empowerment Program, said: “The United Arab Emirates is considered a role model when it comes to co-existence between different cultures, as there are over 200 nationalities are living in harmony and coherent and with respect to each other. Therefore, we are very proud to show this environment of tolerance to other parts of the world.
Dr. Al Mansoori added: “It’s truly remarkable that the summit this year will be held in Russia, as it will be the first UAE event to be held abroad with a UAE organization and supervision. Such a step carries a humanitarian dimension as we believe that every country shall share its knowledge and experiences in different fields with other nations in order to empower our nations. This organization abroad would also help us present the good image of the UAE community and highlight our achievements over the years.”
He added : “Following the success of the first two editions of Aqdar World Summit, as well as the good reputation it has achieved locally and internationally, we have decided to hold the third edition of this prestigious event in the Russian capital, Moscow, in order to emphasize on the position the summit has reached since its establishment in the United Arab Emirates.
He also added: “Due to the humanitarian dimensions and the great objectives of the summit, many international companies offered to host this event. For the third edition, we have forged a partnership with Moscow Global Forum «City for Education» out of their huge contribution and participation in the second edition of Aqdar World Summit. This partnership will help us reflect the outstanding role of UAE in empowering individuals and nourishing the nations.”
Commenting on this occasion, Dr. Andrey Zinin, Special Projects Director, Moscow City Department for Education, said: “Moscow Global Forum City for Education is going to be held for the third time this year from the 28th of August till the 1st of September and has attracted last year over 130,000 visitors from 53 countries and over 1,000 speakers, including senior city government officials.”
He added: “The complex of the projects that we presented at Aqdar world Summit 2018, which was held in Abu Dhabi – UAE, were only a fraction of the educational projects run by Moscow Government. Needless to say, that City for Education forum is applied and practice-oriented one. Also, we have given a lot of focus to the conference part of the forum as we believe that it is necessary to create a platform where representors of city administration, business leaders and educators gather together to transform education and knowledge.”
He concluded: “We are very delighted that Aqdar World Summit will be part of Moscow Global Forum City for Education 2019 and looking forward to meet you in Russia.”
The agenda of the summit will highlight on pressing topics in the fields of education, culture, society, tourism, economy, trade and business through specialized workshops, scientific sessions and discussions. The event also features an exhibition that will be attended by institutions and companies from the public and private sectors to present and showcase their services that benefit the community and increase its knowledge.
